Broad Arrow Auctions to Feature Over 155 Collectible Cars, Highlighted by a 2018 Ford GT
Broad Arrow Auctions, a revered name under the Hagerty (NYSE: HGTY) brand, is buzzing with excitement as it gears up for its Monterey Auction on August 14-15 at the famed Monterey Jet Center. Among the stellar lineup of over 155 collectible cars, an exquisite 2018 Ford GT stands out, estimated to fetch between $950,000 and $1,050,000.
The Iconic 2018 Ford GT: A Masterclass in Engineering
Conceived within the hallowed halls of the Ford Product Development Center, this Ford GT is the epitome of automotive excellence. A select team of engineers brought this masterpiece to life, crafting an advanced carbon fiber monocoque chassis complemented by cutting-edge aerodynamics. The primary mission? Racing. However, Ford dangled the tantalizing possibility of creating a racetrack-caliber vehicle for public consumption.
What caught many off guard was Ford’s rigorous application process, demanding prospective buyers showcase brand loyalty, social influence, and a commitment to promoting the GT. Astonishingly, over 6,500 enthusiasts applied, with fewer than 20 percent receiving the nod from Ford. The original owner of this remarkable GT likely toasted to a fantastic New Year upon receiving their acceptance letter on January 3, 2017.
A Bespoke Masterpiece
This particular 2018 Ford GT boasts a range of customized features, curated by the original owner, who was a Ford Executive Vice President at the time. The meticulous Design Spec Ordering Kit gave rise to a highly bespoke car featuring factory extras worth $96,950.

Pristine Condition and Single Ownership
Delivered through Pat Milliken Ford in Michigan, this stunning Ford GT had just 10 miles on the odometer upon delivery in June 2018. Two months later, a full paint protection treatment using XPEL Ultimate film was applied by Motor City Solutions. Additional stealth film shields the sills and kick plates, while 10 mil thick film protects the headlights, fog lights, and wheel lip moldings.
The GT remains in virtually new condition, having a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report and only 147 miles on its 10-inch digital instrument display at the time of cataloging.
A Unique Collectible Opportunity
With production ceasing late last year, this Ford GT represents a rare chance for enthusiasts to own a nearly new, single-owner example of Ford’s engineering triumph. Its unique finish and comprehensive customization make it a standout at Broad Arrow’s auction.
