However, the new prototype sports even sturdier 33-inch General Grabber All-Terrain tires, the same as those on the F-150 Tremor. Complementing these tires are 18-inch wheels that mirror the F-150 off-roader’s design.

Powertrain Rumors:
Rumors are rife that Ford might equip the new Expedition with a hybrid powertrain, like the one in the redesigned 2021 F-150. This setup employs a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to an electric motor and a 10-speed automatic transmission, producing a robust 430 horsepower.

Currently, the Expedition is only available with the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, offering 380 horsepower standard and 400 horsepower in premium models like the King Ranch and Platinum editions.
