The 2025 Hyundai Tucson made a grand entrance at this year’s New York Auto Show, showcasing a mid-life refresh of this ever-popular two-row crossover. Hyundai has meticulously filled in the gaps from its previous model, enhancing aesthetics, technology, and functionality.
Fresh Exterior Updates
The 2025 Tucson boasts several exterior enhancements:
- New Grille and Bumpers: Revamped for a bolder look.
- Updated Daytime Running Lights: Larger lighting units add a modern flair.
- Redesigned Wheels: New wheel designs contribute to the fresh look.
- Badge Makeover: An anodized finish for the Hyundai badges.

- Hybrid Variants: Boosted by an upgraded electric motor (5 horsepower increase), offering 231 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque in the Blue Hybrid, SEL Convenience Hybrid, N Line Hybrid, and Limited Hybrid trims.
- Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) Variants: Power output remains the highest, with 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
A novel "Baby Mode" feature ensures smoother acceleration, ideal for delicate driving scenarios.
Technological Advancements Inside
The inside of the 2025 Tucson sees significant technological upgrades:
- New Digital Displays: A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is paired with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, delivering faster processing and sharper graphics thanks to upgraded chips and software.
- Wireless Connectivity: Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across all trims.
