FYI: Jeep expands the 2025 Wagoneer S lineup with the addition of the cost-effective Limited trim, providing buyers with an enticing high-value alternative.
Jeep Introduces a More Affordable Version of the Wagoneer S
Jeep has unveiled the 2025 Wagoneer S Limited, a new base trim that promises robust value with a starting price of $66,995, including destination fees. Priced $5,000 below the Launch Edition, this variant is perfect for those who seek the Jeep experience without committing to the top-tier model, and it benefits from eligibility for the $7,500 federal tax credit for both buying and leasing.
Standard Features and Options
While the Limited trim does bring a reduction in cost, it also comes with a few feature trade-offs. For instance, the standard audio system is paired down, and the power output from the dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup is reduced to 500 horsepower compared to the Launch Edition’s 600 horsepower.
However, Jeep has ensured that the Wagoneer S Limited still captures the essence of luxury with its 20-inch wheels, expansive more-than-45-inch screen space split across four displays, heated 10-way adjustable front seats, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The safety feature suite remains extensive as well.
Upgrade Possibilities for More Power
For enthusiasts desiring enhanced power and acoustic experience akin to the Launch Edition, options abound. Jeep offers the premium 920-watt McIntosh audio system as an elective upgrade. Moreover, a Propulsion Boost Package, available through over-the-air updates, allows owners to elevate the vehicle’s output to match the 600 hp of the Launch Edition. Although pricing details for these enhancements have not been disclosed, acquiring them brings the Wagoneer S Limited closer in specification to its upscale sibling.
Impressive Range and Charging Efficiency
Despite being a more affordable choice, the Wagoneer S Limited does not compromise on range performance. It shares the impressive over 300-mile range on a single charge with the Launch Edition, courtesy of a 100.5-kilowatt-hour battery, as per Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company. Charging is convenient with a peak rate of 203 kW from a DC fast charger, enabling a 20-80% battery refill in just 23 minutes. Additionally, each purchase comes with either a complimentary 48-amp Level 2 home charger or public charging credits, ensuring owners are always ready for adventure.
