### 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron Set to Arrive by Late 2024
Audi is set to electrify the compact crossover market with the upcoming release of the 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron. This highly anticipated model will be hitting showrooms at the end of 2024, bringing with it a combination of performance, luxury, and new technology, all at a competitive starting price of $65,095, inclusive of a $1,295 delivery charge. This positions the Q6 E-Tron at over $12,000 less than its cousin, the Porsche Macan EV, which shares the same Volkswagen Group PPE platform.
### Power and Performance Options
The Q6 E-Tron’s base model features a 100kWh battery powering a single rear motor, delivering 302 horsepower, or 322 horsepower with launch control. For an additional $2,000, buyers can opt for an all-wheel drive setup, which adds a front motor and boosts the total power output to 422 horsepower (456 with launch control).
Enthusiasts looking for even more power can choose the SQ6 E-Tron, which starts at $74,195. This model comes standard with all-wheel drive and boasts an impressive 483 horsepower (509 hp with Launch Control). The SQ6 E-Tron accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 143 mph.
### Range and Charging Capabilities
Customers prioritizing range will appreciate Audi’s offering of 18-inch wheels in the Ultra package for the standard rear-wheel-drive model, which achieves an estimated EPA range of up to 321 miles. The all-wheel-drive variant with standard 19-inch wheels has an estimated range of 307 miles. Range estimates for the SQ6 E-Tron have yet to be disclosed.
Charging efficiency is another highlight, with rear-wheel-drive models supporting up to 260kW on DC fast chargers, while all-wheel-drive models support up to 270kW. Audi claims that a DC fast charger can take the Q6 E-Tron from 10% to 80% battery in about 21 minutes.
### High-Tech Features and Amenities
Each Q6 E-Tron is outfitted with Plug and Charge capability and includes one year of free DC fast charging via the Electrify America network. Future integration of the Tesla NACS connector will grant access to a segment of Tesla’s extensive charging infrastructure.
Inside, drivers are greeted with a modern, curved display setup that includes an 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster and a 14.5-inch touchscreen for infotainment. Additional options include a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen, a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system, a panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats and steering wheel, and adaptive dampers with air suspension.
### Future Models
Audi is not stopping there with the Q6 lineup—expect a sportier, coupe-like Q6 Sportback E-Tron and a high-performance RS variant in the future. Both models promise to further enhance the allure of Audi’s electrifying range.
### Conclusion
The 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron is shaping up to be a formidable contender in the growing electric crossover market. With its blend of performance options, innovative features, and competitive pricing, it is sure to attract a wide range of customers looking to make the jump to electric vehicles.
