FYI: Ferrari’s 2016 F12tdf is a Rare Gem for Track Enthusiasts
In October 2015, Ferrari made headlines by introducing a sensational new addition to their lineup: the limited-edition F12tdf. This high-performance, track-focused powerhouse was designed specifically for affluent enthusiasts and gentleman drivers. Paying homage to the illustrious Tour de France automobile race, the "tdf" badge had not adorned a Ferrari since the revered 250 GT TDF. Only 799 units were manufactured between 2016 and 2017, making this already exclusive model even more desirable.
A Nod to History
The F12tdf stands as a singular modern Ferrari bearing the "tdf" insignia, a testament to its high-performance pedigree. Borrowing from the iconic racing heritage of the Ferrari 250 GT TDF, this contemporary marvel carries forward the legacy of grand touring excellence.

Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the F12tdf is equipped with a 6.3-liter V12 engine, similar to the standard F12. However, it’s finely tuned to unleash an extraordinary 770bhp. With reduced weight thanks to extensive carbon fiber and Alcantara use, the F12tdf shaves off 110kg compared to its standard sibling. These enhancements propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and deliver a top speed exceeding 211 mph. The car also bests the standard F12 with a Fiorano lap time that’s two seconds quicker.

Now available through Sotheby’s Motorsport, this 2016 Ferrari F12tdf is draped in a classic solid Rosso Corsa hue, missing the optional stripes for a cleaner, more elegant look. Among its premium features are the Adaptive Frontlight System, Alcantara boot carpet, red brake calipers, carbon fiber engine covers, headlight buckets, parcel shelf, and rear bench trim.
