Hennessey Special Vehicles Launches World’s Most Powerful Manual Hypercar: The Venom F5-M Roadster
Hennessey Special Vehicles, a renowned Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has just announced its most driver-centric hypercar to date – the Venom F5-M Roadster. This groundbreaking vehicle aims to be the most powerful manual production car ever built.
Engineering Excellence Meets Sensory Experience
The Venom F5-M Roadster is all about amplifying the sensation of driving. Featuring a gated six-speed manual transmission, the vehicle entirely prioritizes a physical connection between man and machine. By eliminating electronic interference, Hennessey has gone old school, focusing on tactile engagement. The hypercar will be powered by a formidable Fury V8 engine producing 1,817 bhp, making sure the driver feels every ounce of its might.
John Hennessey’s Vision
John Hennessey, the company’s founder and CEO, said, “We are thrilled to offer the Venom F5-M Roadster, the world’s most powerful manual. It has always been our dream to build a manual Venom F5 – something many of our clients requested. With its visceral driving experience, this hypercar is designed to be intense, immersive, and extremely engaging.”
Perfectly Calibrated for Thrill and Control
Brian Jones, Hennessey’s engineering guru, has meticulously remapped the engine and paired it with new gearing ratios to ensure optimal performance. The graduated application of the 1,817 bhp ensures devastating acceleration while maintaining control at increasing speeds.
Exclusive Production Run
Only 12 Venom F5-M Roadster models will be built, and all are already sold out. Each vehicle, starting at $2.65 million, will feature unique liveries exclusive to the model. Customers can customize their hypercars with one-off colors and unique carbon fiber treatments.
Unique Design Elements
One of the most striking features of the Venom F5-M Roadster is the 55-inch dorsal fin stretching from the roof-mounted air scoop to the rear deck. Nathan Malinick, Hennessey’s Director of Design, highlights, “The F5-M Roadster’s design reflects our extreme, authentic, and uniquely American ethos. This car offers wild power, a dramatic design, and an incomparable driving experience.”
Craftsmanship in the Cockpit
Inside the cockpit, a redesigned interior centers around an elevated aluminum and carbon fiber gear shifter, situated for the perfect shift. This gear shifter, milled from billet aluminum, seamlessly integrates with Hennessey’s attention to detail and craftsmanship. The console features jet-fighter-inspired toggle switches and a dedicated slot for the key, made from the same billet aluminum material.
A Nod to Heritage
Hennessey’s new hypercar pays homage to its predecessor, the Venom GT Spyder, which set the world’s fastest open-top speed record in 2016 at 265.6 mph, a record it still holds today. Like the Venom F5-M Roadster, the Venom GT also featured a six-speed manual transmission.
Meticulously Crafted in Texas
Each Venom F5 is designed, specified, and built at Hennessey’s HQ in Sealy, Texas. The team has already delivered 24 semi-auto Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution models globally. All 12 Venom F5-M Roadsters have been sold, ensuring each owner a unique color for ultimate exclusivity.
