Tesla Cybertruck Spotted as New Jersey EMS Vehicle
A Tesla Cybertruck has been observed sporting its first emergency medical service (EMS) wrap, highlighting the latest transformation of the electric vehicle (EV) for emergency services usage.
Initially shared on Reddit through various posts over a span of a few days, the EMS Cybertruck was sighted in New Jersey. It boasts a vibrant red, white, and blue wrap complete with a siren on top and clear markings identifying it as an emergency vehicle. This modified Cybertruck was reportedly donated to the Hatzulas Nefashos ambulance service in Lakewood. Notably, the vehicle features text in both Hebrew and English.
Toward the rear bumper, there’s an inscription stating that the EV was “donated in memory of the Kedoshim killed on October 7th.”

The Cybertruck’s Journey in Emergency Services
This EMS Cybertruck adds to a growing list of wrapped Cybertrucks making waves online, representing the latest use case for emergency services. Earlier this month, another Cybertruck was unveiled as a police vehicle in Greenfield, California, equipped with police gear by Unplugged Performance’s Up.Fit fleet division.
Similarly, Dubai recently introduced a Cybertruck police cruiser, adorned with a green and white law enforcement wrap and the iconic Dubai police logo. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has previously advocated for police departments to transition to using Cybertrucks, as noted in a response to a post on X (formerly Twitter) from the Rosenberg, Texas authorities in January.
Tesla’s Production Ramp-Up
Tesla has been accelerating its production of the Cybertruck. Celebrating the one-year anniversary of the first pre-production Cybertruck built at Gigafactory Texas, the company recently reported a significant increase in production. According to Tesla’s Q2 2024 earnings call, Cybertruck production has tripled sequentially with expectations to exceed 125,000 units by year’s end.
Conclusion
The Tesla Cybertruck’s versatility is increasingly proving valuable across various domains, from police services to emergency medical response. This latest EMS wrap underscores its adaptability and the growing trend of EVs being integrated into public service sectors.
