Porsche Iberica Marks 40th Anniversary with Stunning 911 Carrera GTS Quarenta Edition
In 1984, after many years working as an importer’s representative, Porsche officially established Porsche España, which is now known as Porsche Iberica, covering both Spain and Portugal. This year, to commemorate its 40th anniversary, Porsche has unveiled a special edition vehicle: the New 911 Carrera GTS Quarenta Edition, specifically designed for the Iberian Peninsula.
A Special Tribute to Iberian Heritage
Alexander Fabig, Vice President of Individualization & Classics at Porsche, mentioned that the Quarenta Edition was crafted based on the preferences of customers from Spain and Portugal as they would have had 40 years ago. The Sonderwunschteam worked diligently with their colleagues in Spain and Portugal to incorporate elements of Iberian culture and aesthetics into the car, resulting in one of the most stylish modern 911s available today.
Exterior Design: A Nod to Iberian Nature
The Quarenta Edition features a unique Quercusverde paint, a non-metallic shade inspired by the leaves of the holm oak tree, which is native to Spain and Portugal. Complementing this new color are elegant black satin stone guards on the rear fenders, as well as silver and aluminum trim details. The car rides on distinctive black satin cross-spoke wheels with brilliant silver rims, evoking the style of the 1980s. Special badges depicting a Quercus tree, hand-painted in cream white, adorn the rear grille and the B-pillar.

Luxurious Interior with Cultural Flair
The attention to detail continues inside, where the Quarenta’s cabin boasts a two-tone palette of Truffle Brown and Cohiba Brown. The darker Truffle Brown is applied on the upper parts of the dashboard, door panels, and other areas, while the carpets and lower parts display the lighter Cohiba Brown. This color scheme pays homage to the work of renowned Iberian Peninsula saddler, Guarnico Nero. The center of the seats features an exquisite tartan insert combining Cohiba Brown, Crayon (a light gray), Truffle Brown, and a green resembling the Quercusverde.

Meticulous Craftsmanship
Tartan accents are accentuated by crayon piping on the seats, hand-crayon cross-stitching on the dashboard, and door panels, which also feature crayon seat belts. Cuarenta lettering is embossed on the headrests, while the center console is marked with "Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur." Custom touches include aluminum door sills illuminated in cream white with the Cuarenta name, door puddle lights showcasing the Quercus tree logo, and a color-matched key complete with a model name and leather pouch. Additionally, the car comes with an indoor cover in Quercusverde featuring a cream white logo and lettering.

Limited Availability
Porsche has announced that a limited number of 911 Quarenta Editions will be produced, available only to select customers on the Iberian Peninsula. Porsche Iberica will retain one of these exclusive vehicles for display purposes.
The Quarenta Edition is a beautiful fusion of Porsche’s high-performance legacy and the rich cultural heritage of Spain and Portugal. This exquisite model stands as a testament to Porsche’s dedication to craftsmanship and cultural appreciation, setting a new standard for special edition vehicles.
