Nearly Two Years of Tesla’s Supercharger Voting Program
Tesla introduced the Supercharger voting system in 2022, allowing users to have a say in the development of new charging stations. Every three months, a new round of voting begins. To participate, users can propose new Supercharger locations that haven’t already been suggested. Each user then has five votes per round to cast on existing proposals, with the highest-voted locations progressing to development.
In recent months, Tesla executives have emphasized the importance of installing more pull-through Superchargers. Additionally, Elon Musk has actively engaged with his followers on X, asking for input on regions that need Superchargers the most.
Tesla’s rapid deployment strategy has also been noteworthy, with the company stating that new Superchargers can be operational just four days after delivery, a significant testament to their efficiency and commitment.
