Tesla Cybertruck Grabs Attention at 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed
The 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed witnessed a major attraction with the debut of the Tesla Cybertruck. Making a powerful impression, the Dual Motor version of the all-electric pickup truck participated in a demonstration run on the festival’s revered hill climb circuit.
Tesla UK had earlier confirmed the Cybertruck’s participation via its official X account, creating buzz around the electric vehicle’s appearance at one of the year’s most highly anticipated motoring events. The Festival’s comprehensive vehicle roster revealed that the Tesla Cybertruck would be featured in the "First Glance" paddock and would perform a demonstration on the hill climb track.

Goodwood ensured wider accessibility by livestreaming the Cybertruck’s hill climb demonstration on its YouTube channel, with snippets of the run proliferating on social media platforms such as X. Though the Cybertruck was not scored on its hill climb performance, its presence was meant to highlight the capabilities and innovative design of Tesla’s electric pickup to the attendees of the historic event.

In addition to the Cybertruck, Tesla showcased the reengineered Model 3 Performance at the festival’s "Electric Avenue" paddock. Unlike the Cybertruck, the Model 3 Performance was part of a static display and did not participate in the hill climb circuit’s live demonstration. This broadened exposure helps underscore Tesla’s influence across various vehicle segments at the festival.

Tesla’s significant presence at this prestigious motoring event was further highlighted by the deployment of Model Y units, which were reportedly used to transport select VIP guests. This is a continuation of the company’s engagement with the Festival of Speed, where the Model Y was among the showcased electric vehicles back in 2022.
Summary
Tesla’s Cybertruck drew significant attention at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, particularly with its demonstration run on the hill climb circuit. Complementing the Cybertruck’s dynamic display, the reengineered Tesla Model 3 Performance was also featured at the event, adding to Tesla’s notable presence. With the future of electric vehicles looking brighter than ever, Tesla’s appearance at events like Goodwood demonstrates its ongoing commitment to innovation and industry leadership.

Wow Tesla realy nailed it! The Cybertruck looks like a beast on that hill climb. Cant wait to see it in the states!
Yes, totaly agree! It was amazing đź’Ą
Hope they improve the design tho, it looks weird to me.
While Tesla fans might be thrilled, some of us find the Cybertruck’s design to be less than appealing. Also, they didn’t even score it on the hill climb? What’s the point then?
This is just another publicity stunt by Tesla. Wake me up when they actually start delivering these trucks to real customers.
Barry78, you need to chill a bit. It’s called marketing, ever heard of it?
So Tesla brings out their ‘futuristic’ Cybertruck, and we’re supposed to be impressed? Don’t even get me started on their ‘reengineered’ Model 3. What was wrong with the old one?
Cybertruck at Goodwood was like watching a tin can on wheels. Next time let’s hope it can actually participate in the competition. lol
