FYI: Tesla has introduced a new sing-along gadget known as the “CaraokeMic,” now available in its online store, specifically designed for its electric vehicle users.
Tesla Unveils the CaraokeMic: The Ultimate In-Car Entertainment Accessory
Tesla has once again pushed the envelope in automotive entertainment with the launch of the CaraokeMic, a new product available in the company’s U.S. and Canadian web stores. Priced at $215, the CaraokeMic package includes two high-quality cardioid microphones, a receiver, data and charging cables, and a handy storage bag.
Sing Your Heart Out On the Road
Building on the success of the TeslaMic released in China in 2022, the CaraokeMic allows Tesla owners to sing along to their favorite tunes while on the go. These microphones are compatible with Tesla’s official Caraoke app, which can be accessed via the vehicle’s touchscreen, and can also be used with popular media apps such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Key Features
- Automatic Pairing: The microphones seamlessly pair with Tesla’s vehicles, ensuring a quick and hassle-free setup.
- Battery Life: With over 10 hours of usage time per charge, users can enjoy extended karaoke sessions without interruption.
- Audio Quality: Thanks to its “anti-howling” feature, the microphones offer exceptional audio clarity and minimize feedback noise.
Availability and Limitations
While the CaraokeMic is available for purchase, it’s important to note that Tesla currently does not ship this product to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands.
A Fun Addition to Tesla’s Unique Product Range
Tesla’s online shop is well-known for its eclectic mix of products, ranging from the Giga Texas-themed belt buckle to the quirky Cyberwhistle. Recently, they even launched a limited-edition Tesla Mezcal, following the popularity of Tesla Tequila. These offerings add a unique flair to the Tesla brand, providing fun and exclusive items for enthusiasts.
Entertainment Features in Tesla Vehicles
Tesla continues to enhance the in-car experience with a plethora of entertainment options. In addition to karaoke, the vehicles come equipped with numerous media streaming apps and games. Although the company has retired some Atari games, it recently introduced a new full-length game along with several updates to its existing video game collection.
